CO2RE Resurfacing
CO2 Resurfacing is a laser treatment that improves skin texture and color and makes the skin smoother and tighter. The new “fractional” laser creates microscopic channels in the skin which are surrounded by areas of healthy, untreated skin. The untreated skin helps speed up the body’s natural healing process, resulting in faster recovery time, while treated areas stimulate the production of new collagen to produce tighter and younger-looking skin. New collagen plumps up the skin and helps soften and smooth out wrinkles, lines, scars and other imperfections. The fractional laser can be used for light (spaced apart, superficial skin channels), mid or deep (close together, deep skin channels) treatments depending on the adjustment. The fractional laser can also be customized to treat different areas of the skin, at different levels, during one treatment.
Who is a good candidate for CO2 fractional resurfacing?
Individuals concerned about superficial and deep lines and wrinkles including “laugh lines”, “lip lines”, “crow’s feet”, upper and lower eyelid skin, acne and other scars. Brown spots or “sun spots” and uneven texture caused by sun or environmental damage can be softened or sometimes eliminated with CO2RE.
Fractional lasers do not treat skin redness or broken capillaries, so their appearance will not change. Ask our esthetic staff about other laser treatments for these skin conditions.
