How BBL Works

The BBL handpiece delivers light energy to gently heat upper layers of the skin. When targeted areas absorb this heat, certain skin cells are stimulated to regenerate new collagen, restoring the skin to its natural beauty. Additionally, photothermal energy works to eliminate the fine blood vessels that often cause the skin to appear red and patchy, resulting in smoother, younger looking skin. BBL also features flexible Finesse Adapters for targeting and treating hard to reach areas.

The BBL machine features advanced cooling features, allowing high-powered light energy to be delivered to the skin with minimal discomfort. It is one of the safest and most effective approaches to achieving younger looking skin in fewer sessions than other technologies. Patients typically experience minimal discomfort during the treatment. A topical numbing cream can be applied if necessary, but most patients do not require it. For optimal results, treatment is recommended between two and four times per year.
