warts

Warts are small bumps which appear on the skin when the affected is exposed to the human papillomavirus (HPV) family. Warts often occur on the hands and feet and are common among children, as most people get HPV vaccines during their teenage years. Warts are spread through skin to skin contact and household items that are prone to moisture such as razors and towels. People with eczema or other chronic skin conditions are more prone to getting warts than those who do not have any skin openings.

We treat all different types of warts including plantar warts, flat warts, genital warts and more. Treatments include salicylic acid, cryotherapy (freezing), burning and cutting and creams.
